Beccy Stables won MasterChef Canada when she was just 19 years old, going into the competition younger, inexperienced, and quite more reserved than her competitors, she came out on top in a fashion that left people astonished. Honing her skills and being completely self taught still to this day Beccy Stables has worked in numerous restaurants/catering companies/bakeries and gelato shops in the Okanagan, while also running a baking website called dessertclub whilst building her Instagram portfolio.
Having a love for absolute classic grandma baking and ridiculous over the-top European style patisserie, her style is somewhere in the middle of sprinkles and refined. Having a firm belief that nothing should be perfect especially not in the kitchen. It should be unique to you, it’s a beautiful art form at the end of the day. Always using it as a way to express herself, be inventive, and let her mind run wild like a child’s. Baking being a constant in her life since high school, she hopes to inspire and excite people of all ages to explore their kitchen abilities.
Beccy has always tried to make the kind of food that she wants to eat and capture it in a way that makes her happy. She is not one to get caught up in trends and compare herself to others. She enjoys creating her own aesthetic drawing inspiration from chefs/creators who love to play around in the kitchen and have a fun time with food!
