Full permission to begin daydreaming about your next *add to cart* item.
Let’s face it: what’s happening around the world is extremely unfortunate. Not only have the physical symptoms of COVID-19 taken lives and infected over a million people, the pandemic has also affected individuals that’ve been struggling with their mental health. If you’re beginning to feel the panic society’s in right now at a cellular level, know that it’s OK. Though in such a time of uncertainty, it’s important to remember that taking care of yourself first is the only way you’ll be able help others. Getting enough sleep is essential to safeguarding your immune system, and most of us have lots of extra time to lay down. Fortunately, this week’s #BeautyFind can help take your #BeautySleep to the next level. Please welcome Kora Organics’ Noni Glow Sleeping Mask.
First impressions: Supermodel Miranda Kerr’s skincare brand Kora Organics couldn’t get any more… Miranda Kerr. The reflective, gem-coloured tube of the Noni Glow Sleeping Mask might just be the epitome of an Aussie beauty product in all of it’s pretty, beach-blue wholesomeness, and it shines just as bright as Kerr herself.
Talkin’ specifics: The gel of the Noni Glow Sleeping Mask is meant to boost skin’s hydration levels to reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and redness. The certified organic formula consists of silver ear mushroom, which helps bind hyaluronic acid to the skin and improve moisture retention, and Kakadu plum, which is high in vitamin C and protects from oxidative stress. Coconut milk further reduces redness and gently softens, while the mild fruit acids from caviar lime increase cellular renewal and brighten dullness. Noni fruit extract also makes a star appearance in the Noni Glow Sleeping Mask – a powerful antioxidant that’s native to Australia and high in vitamins A and C.
The experience: Though I can’t say much about the faint, fruity scent of the Noni Glow Sleeping Mask, I can tell you that its lightweight, cooling gel feels divine on an especially dry, inflamed or irritated complexion. I can count the number of times I’ve used it as a wash-off mask on one hand, because the affects that leaving it on as an overnight treatment have make rinsing it off unappealing (but hey, choose your own adventure!). After months of use, I can also tell you that the Noni Glow Sleeping Mask is pillow-proof, (no worries about smearing product across your silk pillowcases here!), and a little goes a long way, (one tiny dollop is enough to cover your entire face and décolletage). The texture alone is enough to make you dream about how much more hydrated, smoother, and plumper your skin will look once you wake from your beauty slumber.
The verdict: In a study of 30 skincare lovers, 100 per cent of them noticed an improvement in skin bounce and elasticity after using the Noni Glow Sleeping Mask, and 96 per cent said their skin felt well-hydrated and appeared plumper. In my personal trial of this product, I saw similar results the next morning. It was one of those, see yourself in the mirror and be pleasantly surprised type of moments. (‘Oh! It worked!’ – Ever have one of those?) Over the next couple of weeks, the rejuvenation got real and today, my skin appears to be tighter and more luminous than before using the Noni Glow Sleeping Mask. I’ve slathered it on freshly cleansed skin and layered it on top of toners and serums, and it still has the same profound affect without causing any problems. The Noni Glow Sleeping Mask has a special place on my bedside table so that I remember to apply it before my head hits my pillows and I don’t feel like moving ever. again. For best results, I suggest you make a home for it there too. Would recommend.
