A summer in The Hamptons is full of storybook moments. It’s a blend of strolling through the charming towns with an iced coffee in hand to spending the afternoon beachside for some much needed R&R. Our Editor in Chief, Elise Gasbarrino, has been summering in The Hamptons for years now, and recently came back to share about all of her favourite experiences with us.
“A summer in The Hamptons is a complilation of beachside memories with your favourite people, indugling in some sweet revelations and experiencing all the magic that the island has to offer.”

Here are her favourite experiences in The Hamptons:
Tate’s Bake Shop

That first morning of nothingness is like a dream come true. And what better way to spend your morning then with a Tate’s chocolate chip banana muffin and an iced latte. It’s simply a match made in heaven, and best enjoyed beachside. Tate’s is a local staple and is home to the best baked goods with carefully sourced, hand-selected ingredients to ensure each bite in an exceptional experience.
Shou Sugi Ban House
Tutto il Giorno
Whenever we visit for the summer, we always make a point of dining at Tutto il Giorno in Sag Harbor. With a toddler, we’ve now really leaned into spending long lunches in the gardens of Tutto il Giorno and it really is the perfect way to afternoon in any beach town. The restaurant, dreamed up and founded by Gianpaolo de Felice, Gabby Karan de Felice and David and Gally Mayer, is an opportunity for you to lean into imagining yourself dining al fresco in Italy. From traditional Italian dishes to the modern design of each of restaurant, Tutto il Giorno is best served with a bowl of pasta in one hand and a glass of Aperol Spritz in the other.
Good Ground Tavern at Canoe Place Inn

Golden hour at Canoe Place’s restaurant is pure magic, and is made even more brilliant with happy hour. Cocktails arrived like little works of art, perfectly paired with shareable plates that danced between indulgent and fresh. From just-caught seafood to crisp seasonal salads and decadent bites that had us lingering far longer than planned, every dish told a story of the abundance of The Hamptons.
The Bagel Place

If you love bagels as much as we do, then you’re going to love bagels on the beach from The Bagel Place. Still warm from the oven, these are the kind of bagels that ruin you for all others: perfectly chewy, golden-crusted, and generously layered with fresh, flavorful toppings. Paired with ocean views and the sound of waves, it’s simple, salty-sweet bliss. Truly, the best of the best.
The Beach
And of course, the beach. There is nothing more beautiful then spending the day at the beach. So if you just come to The Hamptons for the beach, then enjoy every single moment of it.
