This year, we’ve partnered up with Destination TO to bring their holiday activation to life. We are running our pop-up, Shop the Block, at Stackt Market, in the heart of Toronto. “We’re so excited to be popping up this holiday season in our Toronto! We’ve curated a diverse assortment of brands from different neighbourhoods of Toronto. AJ: My name is Althea Johnson. I am a Fashion, Travel and Skincare blogger. I have always been searching for solutions to help with my severe cystic acne, eczema and sensitive skin. Research in Seoul led me to delve deeper into the Kbeauty skincare industry. I discovered result-oriented techniques and products to help alleviate issues with my sensitive skin and reduce my eczema and acne breakouts.
SC: Tell us the story behind your brand!
AJ: I started Proprlifestyle to share my experience and growing knowledge with those who have similar skin issues and want to learn more about how Korean skincare can improve their skin’s appearance. I believe that a personalised kbeauty skincare routine can lead to glowing, clearer skin that retains elasticity.
Proprlifestyle offers a curatioin of award-winning Korean skincare products that combine plant-based ingredients with state-of-the-art technology and are suitable for sensitive skin types including eczema.
Proprlifestyle started out as an online store in November 2017 before opening the retail location on Ossington Avenue in March of 2020.

SC: What inspires you?
AJ: The Arts – I love film, books, art galleries and museums. It fuels my creative ideas.

SC: What does 2022 hold for you?
AJ: 2022 was a year filled with challenges and lots of lessons. I am looking forward to 2023 being the same. What doesn’t kill you, makes you stronger.
