April is Earth Month, and we’re celebrating by showing you some fabulous eco-friendly makeup options from London Drugs, so you can make your beauty routine a little bit greener! London Drugs has sustainability in their DNA; their continuous sustainability efforts resulted in an impressive 12.5 million pounds of waste being diverted from city landfills across the country last year. With a chainwide waste diversion rate of 92.8% in 2016, London Drugs is coming closer each year to reaching their goal of zero-waste status. They also continue to help their customers shop greener with hundreds of products in store that have environmental benefits – from recycled content to certified organic production. Even their beauty department is a treasure trove of eco-friendly finds, and lots of them can be spotted in their Earth Month makeup tutorial, which launched this month.
In the video, London Drugs Beauty Advisor Sara shows how to create a beautiful everyday makeup look, using all ‘green’ makeup, including Emani, Youngblood, Burt’s Bees and more. Watch the video to see how to get Sara’s gorgeous eco-friendly look, and continue reading below to see why each product featured is a sustainability superstar.

For example, Lancôme offers Foundation Refills for their Miracle Cushion All-in-One Liquid Compacts. Refills won’t just save you money, they’ll help to cut down on the amount of cosmetics waste that ends up in our landfills.
