Meet Chau Lui and Trang Wong
Profession: Co-owners of Paris Jewellers and Co-Founders of CELI
Tell us a little about yourself.
We are sisters, and co-owners of Paris Jewellers and co-founders of CELI, our new sister brand. Â I have 2 girls ages 12 and 10, and my sister has three kids – ages 12, 10, and 7. We both love travelling with our families – and of course love eating and trying different food and restaurants.
Being a Changemaker is all about knowing where you come from and to have the courage to take a new step forward. What gives you courage to live out your story?Â
What gives us courage is remembering where we came from — our origin, our family, the people who supported us, and the lessons and challenges on this journey. We think about the sacrifices that were made so we could have opportunities, and that keeps us moving forward.
Everyone’s story is comprised of many chapters, what was one of the most influential ones in your journey?
Personally, becoming moms was definitely one of those defining moments that would change the lens in which we saw the world.  Professionally – the chapter that was most influential and impactful was continuing to have growth even in a very tough economic time. We learned that if we stayed focused on our plan, and executed with excellence – we could lead our teams in the right direction.

What would your 15 year old self be most proud of that you have accomplished?
We have been blessed with so many proud moments that we are so grateful for. But one that stands out is our collaboration with Barbie! We got to work with their incredible team to design an exclusive collection inspired by Barbie’s fashion through the decades.
What do you hope is the legacy you will leave behind?Â
We hope the legacy we leave is one of impact — that we made people feel seen, valued, and celebrated. That we worked hard and helped others believe in what’s possible. We want people to remember that we made mistakes and learned so much along the journey, but our commitment will always remain the same to our team. That we never stopped trying to be qualified for the roles that we had in our organization.
