Brunch at The Drake

Weekends are reserved for wearing your Sunday best, having a mimosa in hand, and taking some ‘me’ and ‘we’ time. Drake One Fifty (located in The Financial District of Downtown Toronto) recently opened it doors to friends who brunch, and we couldn’t be happier.

The moment you walk into Drake One Fifty, you’re wrapped into the beautiful world of brunching. The backdrop for this new brunch destination is what we like to think of eclectic meets elegance. It’s about bringing you back to the glorious world of how a restaurant should envelope you in all its greatness.

The hostess sat us at a lavish, oversized booth, and the mimosas didn’t stop flowing. Executive Chef, Ted Corrado and Chef De Cuisine, Jon Pong developed a menu far from basic with their Shakshuka, aged short rib One Fifty Burger and Amaretto Skillet French Toast. Every dish, in our eyes, is a unique interpretation of their surroundings that develop artistic flow from the art on the walls to your dish. For a ‘fuel-up’ kind of Sunday, dive into the Salmon Grain Bowl or simple, yet amazing, Avocado Toast. The menu exudes such bold flavours that it truly is like a party in your mouth.

And of course, every brunch should end with a little sweetness. Indulge in the homemade blueberry scones or dabble into the beautiful Éclairs, your sweet tooth will thank you. Whether you’ve come for the art or elegance of the place, you’ll be calling Drake One Fifty your new brunch spot.
