Avocado toast is a staple in our diet. There are few things better than a slice of freshly baked bread topped with mashed avocadoes, olive oil, a pinch of chili flakes and a splash of lime. Despite making it at home at least four days a week, it’s always the option we find ourselves gravitating toward at restaurants as well.
Here are some of our favorite spots to eat avocado toast in Toronto:
The Drake One Fifty
Not typically thought of as a brunch destination given its location in the heart of Toronto’s financial district, means there is typically no wait for a table on Saturday mornings. The Drake One Fifty keeps their avocado toast simple topping it with radishes, cucumber and ricotta. The cucumbers and radishes give the toast a fresh feel and provide just the right amount of crunch.

Rose and Sons
We’’ve always been a fan of Rose and Sons and their creative menu, so we were excited to learn they opened a new spot in our favorite area of the city – Queen West. The avocado toast is just one of the many delicious things on this menu. Topped with eggs and both sweet and hot peppers, the avocado toast at Rose and Sons definitely packs a punch.

Wish
Wish was one of the first brunch spots that we frequented in the city and all these years later we remain loyal customers. This year it’s the avocado toast that we continue to come back for – topped with cherry tomatoes, goat cheese and a poached egg it’s the perfect post workout treat.
