The Vibe
Stately, sophisticated and utterly intentional, Stone Eagle Winery is Niagara-on-the-Lake’s newest emblem of luxury in wine and hospitality. The estate is set on 35 acres of vineyards and houses a strikingly elegant building surrounded by vineyards and pristine grounds. With private tasting rooms, The Nest at Stone Eagle Restaurant, and beautiful event spaces, Stone Eagle is built not just for wine sipping—but for immersive experiences, celebrations, and shared moments. The estate creates an atmosphere that is equal parts intimate and majestic. The overall ambiance feels curated for those who appreciate a slower, more considered experience; whether you’re sipping wine, savouring carefully paired dishes or simply soaking in the vineyard views.

The Service & Hospitality
Stone Eagle is designed around presence and polish. What we love most about the service is that tastings are intimate and by reservations only so that the sommeliers are able to dedicate their full attention to guests. For large-scale events, the estate offers private tasting rooms, group-tasting options, and even bespoke experiences—a testament to a service philosophy that marries exclusivity with hospitality. The team is dedicated to inviting you to create memories that feel relaxing as you indulge in the rich notes of each sip and take to stepping into a place where it is commonplace to feel as if you’re a king and queen dining and sipping on the best wines in town.

The Wine & Food
Stone Eagle isn’t about volume, it’s about intentionality. The small, curated wine portfolio, where every wine is treated as a flagship, reflects a philosophy rooted in consistency, precision, and terroir.
Estate Flight: A focused tasting of three core wines: white, rosé, and red.
Founder’s Flight: Four wines, finishing with the limited-release 2020 Special Selection, ideal for those seeking something rarer.
Signature Experience: The full five-wine journey, carefully paired with curated dishes at The Nest, designed to reveal the fullest expression of each wine.
The menu at The Nest, the wineries restaurant, is built around the wines themselves—menus are crafted so that dishes highlight and harmonize with the estate’s wines. Think hamachi crudo, porcini-rubbed rib-eye, braised duck in red wine—luxurious, flavour-forward fare that elevates the tasting.
The Verdict
If you’re looking for more than just another winery pit stop, Stone Eagle is a rare gem in Niagara’s wine landscape. From elegant architecture to curated tastings and wine-forward dining, the estate delivers on ambition. Whether you’re a seasoned oenophile or a curious newcomer seeking something distinct, it’s a destination worth adding to your wine-country rotation.
