#WhatIMissWearing: Beach Edition

In this edition of #WhatIMissWearing, Podcast Producer Aleah Balas tells you about some of her favourite resort wear items that she can’t wait to bust out again.

Item #1: Nine West Denim Bucket Hat

“I don’t want to brag, but I got this bucket hat before bucket hats were trendy. I don’t want to brag again, but I wore this on the daily on my pre-pandemic road trip up the California Pacific Coast Highway, especially lounging by the pool in Santa Monica. Now when I try to wear it, the vibes just aren’t as immaculate. Here’s hoping that cross-border travel opens soon because I have #realtears.”

Item #2: Amazon Statement Sunnies

“My fashion inspo, Paige DeSorbo from Bravo’s Summer House, bought these so I bought these. Plus, they’re so affordable and arrive in a mere two days thanks to Amazon Prime. I love wearing these with an edgier outfit to lunch or even to spice up a simple bather at the pool. They really need a fire outfit to match so my daily walks haven’t seen these on the docket, that’s for sure!”

Item #3: Joe Fresh Snakeskin One-Piece Bather

“Confession: Technically, I don’t miss wearing this piece, specifically because it is brand new. But what I do miss is getting a brand new suit for a trip that you can debut at the pool! Part of the new Roxy Earle collection at Joe Fresh, it cinches in all the right spots and has a tie waist for a perfect fit every time. I couldn’t recommend this one enough and can’t wait to get some nasty tan lines in it!”
