Tofino, a vibrant beach town on Vancouver Island’s west coast is gearing up to host its inaugural Pride March! On June 28th, Coastal Queer Alliance, a local organization creating representation and resources for local queers, is teaming up with Hotel Zed, self-professed Rebels Against the Ordinary, to host this radical Pride celebration.
Celebrations will kick off at noon in the Beaches Grocery parking lot, where folks will gather and together, will march to Hotel Zed, where the celebrations will continue into the late afternoon. Spend the day surrounded by epic folks to gather and connect in celebration of queer identities forever and always. From indoor and outdoor entertainment by the local queer community and a Pride Vendor Village showcasing local 2SLGBTQA+ artists, the day will be filled with a whole lot of love. Hotel Zed’s on-site live fire restaurant and bar, ROAR, will also be open and serving up pride-themed refreshments that we know you’ll be in awe of!
