The Vibe

Le Centre Sheraton is perched at the intersection of Rue de la Montagne and Ste-Catherine, and with its grand essence it has all the amenities you crave while on vacation. The hotel is the spot where families land for a weekend getaway and conferences are held on the daily. Whatever your reason for checking in here, know you’ll be met with a beautiful aesthetic, modern finishings and intentional spaces to rest, sign the deal or catch up with your favourite people. Light from the skyline invites in a warm glow in guestrooms, and on The Club Level, whereas the main floor is the epicentre of the hotel; inviting guests to dine, and lounge in really beautiful spaces.
The Neighbourhood
Le Centre Sheraton sits at the heart of downtown Montréal, surrounded by restaurants, boutiques, and a buzzing streetlife of Ste-Catherine and Rue Crescent. Old Montréal’s cobblestoned streets and historic architecture is a short walk away, making it easy to drift between the magic that Montréal holds. Place Jacques-Cartier, the Vieux-Port waterfront, and the historical Notre-Dame Basilica are all sites that you’ll want to venture to. The boutique-lined streets of the Golden Square Mile (just minutes away) add another layer to a neighbourhood that genuinely over-delivers on walkability. The neighbourhood is one that makes you want to leave the hotel; which, given how good the hotel is, is really saying something.
The Rooms

With sweeping views of the skyline, guest rooms are designed to let the light in while striking the perfect balance between being practical and indulgent. From their signature Heavenly Beds to height-adjustable work tables and all the essentials needed, rooms are created with intention. We spent the weekend in a spacious King Guest Room and loved how the modern design fluttered throughout the room. We spent our mornings lingering over complimentary morning coffee watching the sunrise to afternoons napping in the really truly Heavenly Beds. Suites come with separate living areas and work tables, striking a balance between a space that actually supports productivity and one you genuinely don’t want to leave.

For those who upgrade to Club Level, the 37th-floor Sheraton Club Lounge awaits, our favourite place to land any time of day. The best part of the Club Level is it’s offering of hot breakfast, evening appetizers, all-day refreshments, and views that make the complimentary amenities feel almost beside the point. We landed here often as our toddler loved saying ‘good morning’ to the sun while eating breakfast, wanted to pop in to grab a snack before a day of exploring and wished upon a star to visit Club Level before bedtime to get out her wiggles. Trust us when we say, upgrading to Club Level is totally worth it.
The Extras

Stanley, the hotel’s signature restaurant, is the social heart of Le Centre Sheraton. Blending warm hospitality with locally inspired cuisine, the restaurant invites you to move through the rhythms of the day with ease. We took to sharable dishes while dining here, and know we made the right decision to try a little bit of everything the menu offers. The Mahi-Mahi Ceviche was a fan favourite with it’s smooth and light leche de tigre, coconut milk and lemongrass oil flavours. We then rolled into the Cauliflower, Lobster Roll and Beef Tar Tar and loved each dish. With such bold and succulent flavours, our meals were an invitation to catch up after a day of exploring.

Le Centre Sheraton is home to a wellness centre that we couldn’t get enough of. From their heated pool to the fitness centre and sauna, we spent the morning swimming laps and stretching it out as we watched the sun rise. The best part, the fitness centre is open 24-7, so you can get in a quick workout before (or after) your meetings and adventures.
Tucked away on the 6th floor, the hotel’s outdoor terrace is one of those discoveries that makes a stay feel extra special. The Terrace is home to spirited games of ping-pong and cornhole, or offers the opportunity to dine al fresco. It’s here where you feel a million miles away from the city centre, and we loved every moment lounging in the quiet terrace spaces.
The Verdict
We loved it here, and can’t wait to come back.
