The spotlight is on giving back — and King Events is taking centre stage and we’re excited to announce, we’re the media partner of this incredible event!
On Thursday, April 24, 2025, Toronto’s historic Great Hall will come alive with SPOTLIGHT, the inaugural fundraising event from King Events that’s boldly reshaping how the event industry shows up for community. Designed to be equal parts celebration and call to action, SPOTLIGHT will direct 100% of funds raised to support Pink Pearl Canada, a national charitable organization that supports young women facing cancer. As the media partner, we couldn’t be more excited to share all about this exciting evening.

This isn’t your average fundraiser. Natalie Preddie, award-winning travel and lifestyle writer, speaker and on air personality, will host the event, and Canadian stand-up comedian and host of Discovery Channel Canada’s Cash Cab, Adam Growe, will join Natalie on stage to help raise spirits, while also raising funds and awareness for Pink Pearl Canada. Top it all off with a live, all-request, interactive show by Great Canadian Dueling Pianos and the fun is just beginning.

The event proudly supports Pink Pearl Canada, a registered Canadian charity offering free support programs for self-identifying young women navigating the life-changing realities of a cancer diagnosis. From wellness retreats, one-on-one counseling sessions and a peer support program to a post-secondary scholarship, support packages and Sephora Brave Beauty Classes, Pink Pearl builds connection, strength, and hope when it’s needed most. These programs and the comfort they offer are entirely powered by donations and fundraising events like SPOTLIGHT.
