Last month, STYLE Canada checked-into The June Motel Beaver Valley, a lovely motel where we retreated in nature for our stay. Read all about our stay below.
The Vibe

The June Motel Beaver Valley is a dreamy destination with whimsical moments and bohemian bliss. Picture vibrant pops of color, and lush greenery that invites you to unwind. Imagine lounging in The Parlour for an afternoon tea, enjoying a glass of wine by their outdoor firepits, or resting in the sauna after a day on the slopes. Golden-hour light floods the airy spaces, setting a tranquil mood. The vibe is effortlessly cool—equal parts cozy nostalgia with its vintage inspired decor and bohemian retreat. The June Motel Beaver Valley is simply a haven for dreamers and seekers of slow, magical moments.
The Neighbourhood
What we loved most about The June Motel Beaver Valley is that you felt as if you were miles away from the big city, yet you were simply down the road (and around a few bends!) to some of the best restaurants, towns, and experiences in the area. Waking up to the gentle waves of Beaver Creek was like a breath of fresh air. The neighbourhoods around The June Motel are a blend of small-town charm and natural beauty. From Kimberly’s peaceful vibe, to Collingwood’s vibrant downtown and Blue Mountains dreamy ski slopes, we couldn’t have picked a better location to sit back, relax and retreat for the weekend.
The Room

The soothing sounds of nature under a star-filled night, your Cozy King Room awaits you as the ultimate retreat. Each guestroom serves up The June’s retro charm, playful patterns, and rich, cozy hues for that vintage lodge feel. Guestrooms are home to their own playful surprises of colour and tranquil vibes. We loved the rose coloured bathroom paired with the rich green hues and nature-inspired wallpaper by Sandberg Wallpaper in the bedroom.

Each guestroom features the most comfortable king bed, with amenities from Sunday’s Company, a welcome drink, cozy robes and A/C. Something to note for tv fans, this is a true retreat destination with no TV’s, so get ready to dive into a good book before you rest for the evening! Whether you’re unwinding after hiking trails or soaking up the scenery, this is the perfect blend of style, comfort, and just the right amount of retro fun!
The Extras

Gather here, and gather often with your besties. The June Motel Beaver Valley is home to quaint spaces to rest, restore and rejuvenate. When we first arrived, we indulged in cups of tea provided by The June and headed into the Parlour to play a few rounds of Backgammon (we may have totally made up our own rules!). With the roaring fireplace and warm atmosphere, we loved spending the afternoon here. The Parlour is also home to their morning breakfast served daily for guests.

Our evenings were spent in the Sauna and resting on the Riverside Patio for a campfire and s’mores under the stars – yes it was a dreamy night! Upstairs in the main building is the Studio, a light-filled, beautifully designed space for you to stretch, move and breathe. The space is open to all guests and to use in your own time. Head up to the Studio for your own morning movement or meditate and take in the easy, breezy feel of the space.
Our Verdict
If you’re looking for a little rest and relaxation outside of the hustle and bustle of the surrounding areas, The June Motel Beaver Valley is the place for you.
