Soccer fans across the nation are ready to don their red and white to cheer on Team Canada at FIFA World Cup 2026. This year, the World Cup is hosted across Canada, Mexico and the United States to bring the love of soccer into more communities. From June 11 to July 19th, whether you’re watching from the big screen or in-person in Canada (Toronto and Vancouver), or make your way to the USA or Mexico to catch a match, this season, the tournament will be the first-ever 48-team event, split across 16 host cities. Let’s go Team Canada.

All About Summer at Hale Muskoka

All About Summer at Hale Muskoka is a free-to-attend summer kick off celebration taking place on Saturday, June 20, 10am to 4pm. Featuring all the essentials needed for cottage season and lake life, start the summer right with delicious food, ice cream + cold drinks, live music in the market square, family-friendly activations, and shops with the season’s must-have flavours, fresh produce, fashion and accessories, décor, summer reads, patio furniture, garden and dock staples, boating and fishing needs, and more.


Fierce & Fabulous Expo

This June, Fierce & Fabulous Expo launches as Canada’s first large-scale drag and music convention. The event brings together an incredible lineup of North America’s most famous drag performers, alongside emerging talent from the You Do You Foundation Mentorship Program, supported by TD Bank Group. Taking place June 6 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, the Expo is set to spotlight queer creativity on a national stage, blending drag, music, and performance culture in a way we haven’t seen at this scale in Canada before.


L’Appartement

This June, a new address in Kitsilano opens its doors. L’Appartement, a boutique inspired by the feel of a Parisian apartment, arrives on June 17, 2026, bringing a curated edit of European and French womenswear, accessories, jewellery, and footwear to Vancouver.


Taco Fest Mississauga

The first-ever Taco Fest Mississauga is transforming Port Credit Memorial Park from June 27 to 28 into high-energy celebrations of flavour and culture. Prepare for the ultimate summer kickoff, with two action-packed days of inventive, mouthwatering tacos alongside handcrafted cocktails, while mariachi bands, salsa dancers and live performers keep the atmosphere electric from day to night. Indulge in Mississauga’s top offerings from top chefs and local restaurants serving over 150 taco varieties, from traditional Mexican cuisine to new takes on classics and exclusive menu offerings. All Taco Fest attendees will have the chance to vote for their favourite taco and crown the winner of the very first Taco Fest Mississauga Best Taco. Family entry time between 11 am – 3:30 pm: kids ages 5-18, $12.95. Kids 4 and under are Free.


Around The World Pop-Ups

 This June and July immerse yourself in the global culture of one of Toronto’s most historic and multicultural neighbourhoods at Cabbagetown’s new Around The World Pop-Up series This 5-week series runs from June 11th through July 19th and features 30+ events. Hosted indoors and outdoors across multiple venues and public spaces in Cabbagetown, enjoy a mix of free-to-attend and ticketed activities with something for every age.

Expect:

Music, Art, Film and Dance: experience live music performances, dance showcases, film screenings, comedy shows, community art events and open-air sketching sessions.

Food and Walking Tours: join curated culinary tasting tours highlighting diverse eateries and historical walking tours exploring local heritage

Shops and Workshops: shop outdoor markets and visit hands-on community workshops for bike + clothing repair and plant care

Community Celebration: enjoy neighbourhood gatherings, cultural ceremonies, street performers, and kid-friendly programming including an outdoor family dance party, story time readings and cupcake decorating

Taste of the Junction

Toronto’s west end is coming alive this summer! The Junction BIA invites residents and visitors to experience Taste of the Junction 2026, a one-day outdoor market and cultural celebration on Saturday, June 27, from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Green P parking lot at 385 Pacific Avenue, just south of Dundas Street West. The event is expected to draw thousands for a day of local food, culture, creativity, and neighbourhood discovery—capturing Toronto’s spirit as The World in a City.
