Our Favorite Shows from NYFW 2023

Fashion Week is in New York City once again with six days of Fall/Winter 2023 shows from brands including Rodarte, Prabal Gurung, Eckhaus Latta and Jason Wu.
This week, the shows continued amazing guests with their settings in iconic backdrops and grand architectural spaces. Shows took place at the historic main branch of the New York Public Library, classic hotspot the Rainbow Room, and the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum.
Here are some of our favorite shows from this New York Fashion Week’s Fall/Winter 2023 collections.

RVNG

The RVNG Runway show left us amazed! Everything from the cuts to the material selection and bold colors, the RVNG Fall/Winter collection was a statement in its entirety.

Jason Wu

This season, Jason Wu states inspiration as “I was captivated by the works of 20th century artist Karl Blossfeldt. His
botanical photography had a fragility and strength that is contrasted with a
moodiness which prompted me into a cinematic direction.”
Adding, “I wanted to push the brands code of confident yet refined elegance with menswear
inspired deconstructed tailoring, trimmed with feminine chiffon and lace details. This
sensibility is heightened through an emphasis on the hourglass shape and ultrafeminine, diaphanous dresses shown alongside generously fit, oversized outerwear.”

Veronica Beard

Veronica Beard unveiled its Fall Winter 2023 Collection with a runway show on February 14th, 2023 at
the previous Barney’s Chelsea location in NYC. The show kicked off with a performance by Suki
Waterhouse, of her latest hit “Neon Signs”. The brand utilized this moment to unveil its new logo and
heritage crest, appearing throughout the collection in both overt and discreet iterations.

The collection exudes effortless polish and celebrates layering and proportion play—slip dresses; ultrawide-leg denim; oversized, boyfriend versions of our hero blazers are all key silhouettes. The evolution
of suiting remains a focus with both proportion play and fabrication choice. Textural tweeds,
houndstooth and other menswear fabrics add substantive dimension.
