Fresh Fall Nail Looks

Fall is the time for pumpkin spice, sweater weather and apple picking! The ringing in of a new season also means it’s time to switch up your nail game and Raquel DaSilva, co-founder of NAILGOD, is here to share the most coveted nail trends for Fall 2022.

From bold metallic designs to deep rich hue french manis, there’s something for everyone. Choose these designs to complement your fall fashion look  – and book your nail appointment, stat!

Chrome

Chrome nails will be the number one requested nail trend for fall. Gracing the fingertips of many A-list celebs, including Zendaya and Dua Lipa, this metal effect adds the perfect amount of shine to your nails for that eye-catching glimmer.

I love pairing chrome charms with a deep black french or opting for a traditional silver chrome dusted nail. It creates an ultra chic “punk” look guaranteed to be all over your social media feeds in the coming weeks!

Gold Luxury Midas

The midas nail trend is a style that you’ll want to wear on repeat. A luxury twist on a traditional classic french mani, this trend involves swapping white tips with deep gold detailing. Best paired with an almond shaped nail, this look is elegant and is the ultimate accent to your fall #OOTD.

We also predict this look will continue to be very popular into the holiday season.

Forest French

Contrary to what people may think, green nails are not exclusively for St. Patrick’s Day. Forest green, a beautiful deep and rich shade of green, will be a popular colour this fall and we’re here for it!  Use forest green for your french tips to embrace the season’s hues. You can even add in some playful nail art (in the same green hues) on your ring or pinky finger for some added oomph.

Rich in Red

A red manicure for fall is a true classic. However, with so many varying shades of red, selecting the perfect colour can be overwhelming.  A timeless and reliable red that I always reach for each fall season is “Big Apple Red” by OPI.  This red offers a rich look without any underlying orange tones. I find this colour looks best with a smooth, almond shaped nail.

Psychedelic Neutral

The asymmetric hand drawn lines that we’ve been loving all summer are going to be continuing into fall. However, the bright colours are getting replaced by elegant neutrals in off-white, beige, brown and green.

My recommendation is to have fun and let your nail tech be creative with the line pattern – the bolder the better! “Funny Bunny” by OPI and “Cotton Candy” nail polish by NAILGOD are excellent base coat options for this nail trend.

Web of Love

Spooky season is finally upon us. Embrace the Halloween season with a nail look that screams boo!

I personally love a ‘web of nails’ look. This style can be achieved by creating a thick french mani in jet black and adding hand painted webs and mini hearts in white.  We have no doubt that you’ll want to rock this spooky manicure all month.
