We were in the city of angels, Los Angeles, for the Create & Cultivate Festival and spent an extended weekend at The Aster, a Michelin Key boutique hotel in the heart of LA. After a long flight from Toronto, our personal favourite was taking in the California sunshine while relaxing poolside at The Aster Park Lounge and Patio with a cold brew in hand.

We loved every minute of our dinner at Lemon Grove LA, The Aster’s Rooftop exclusive rooftop restaurant and lounge. With sweeping views of the Hollywood skyline, the Lemon Grove weaves the abundance of seasonal ingredients with golden hour cocktails to create bold dishes that speak to the culinary genius of the restaurant’s chefs. Our favourite, the roasted half chicken with herb jus, mushrooms, brussels sprouts and rainbow carrots, it was incredible. Dine at Lemon Grove for brunch, dinner or golden hour and learn about the intricate nature that is a fine dining establishment in the heart of Hollywood.

Enjoy a coveted spot in one of their Reformer Pilates classes or run out the day’s stresses in their state of the art gym. As you find your way to the indoor or outdoor cinema, you are invited to take in the great hollywood movies of our time. Social spaces like the Aster Park and Vine Room lounges are an experience all on their own.
The best part of The Aster, you’ll quickly understand just how much fun it is to feel like you never have to leave the hotel, because every exclusive moment is literally at your fingertips.
