Toronto’s favourite food festival, Taco Fest, is back this summer at Fort York from August 9th to 11th. The city’s biggest Mexican fiesta will feature over 250 varieties of mouth-watering tacos from Toronto’s top chefs, including off-menu items and exclusive restaurant collaborations. Guests can also indulge in fresh guacamole, Mexican street corn, and piping-hot churros. To spice things up, there will be Canada’s largest hot sauce bar with over 250 unique flavours, plus 32 different tequilas and refreshing cocktails like margaritas and palomas. Don’t miss the salsa dancing lessons, live mariachi bands, and the chance to vote for the city’s “Best Taco” on the final day!

It’s time to lace up your kicks and join the Walk for Pink Pearl in the Together5k: A Fun Run to Support Young Women Facing Cancer! During the month of August, gather your favourite people and head out for a 5km or 10km walk or run in the comfort of your own neighbourhood to support young women facing cancer. Register as an individual, create a team, or join a team, and share your campaign to help reach the $10,000 goal to fund Pink Pearl’s free support programs! Map out your track and walk/run for 5 minutes a day, or finish your race in one day, just be sure to complete it by August 31! Funds raised will go towards supporting the free programs for young women facing any type of cancer across Canada.
Niagara-On-The-Lake Peach Festival

If you’re looking for a fun and delicious activity in August, the Peach Festival in Niagara-on-the-Lake is always a hit! Happening on August 10th from 10 AM to 5 PM, you can enjoy a variety of vendors offering everything from delicious & creative peach-themed treats to peach-flavoured brews and ciders. There is something for everyone to try, and you’ll be supporting local farmers. Entertainment goes on all day long, and you don’t want to miss the Peach Pie Contest!
