Amanda Kruzich is a marketing strategy consultant, advocate for women’s advancement, passionate volunteer, wife and mother of two.
In her current role as Program Director for the RBC Canadian Women Entrepreneur Awards, she helps shine a spotlight on the achievements of women entrepreneurs from coast to coast. These awards are just one of the initiatives spearheaded by Amanda and the team at Women of Influence+, an organization that equips women with connections, support, training, and tools to carve new pathways, and excel within their careers on their own terms.
She is an active volunteer and fundraiser for Look Good Feel Better, a charitable organization that helps people facing cancer feel like themselves again by addressing the physical, emotional and psychological aspects that come with a diagnosis. Her early volunteerism with the organization led to her being named the inaugural Chair of the Bubbles & Brunch Toronto fundraiser. Tasked with raising funds and awareness for the cause, Amanda pulled together a handful of enthusiastic committee members with the modest goal of raising at least $10,000. Six years later, Bubbles is now a multi-city event that has raised over $400,000 for the charity.
Whether it is through work or volunteerism, Amanda has had the opportunity to meet and work with many incredible women changemakers who have inspired her on her own journey. It is the stories of these women, some who have overcome insurmountable challenges, that drive her, inspire her, and give her the courage it takes to be a true changemaker.
Amanda has had the fortunate opportunity to make a real difference in women’s lives and her hope is to be an example and to inspire the young women of tomorrow to encourage, support and champion other women to make a difference and succeed.
